I was very ambitious about this blog at one point (during the Korea years 2007-2010), but now I'm in a happy groove of writing for myself. I kept another blog mostly about our personal finance journey called Free, Fun, Family on Wordpress (2018-2021), but decided having a blog "business" was not for me. I've archived these posts (from 2018-2020); some were written in a different "voice". I welcome questions from readers.
This blog is 100% not a business. As such, I'm not a member of any affiliate programs (ok, just YNAB, but it won't hurt me at all if you don't use my affiliate link for that; it's awesome!). I won't try to sell you stuff here. If you are moved to support this blog with your money, please give generously to a local poverty alleviation organization that means something to you. If you want to support me with money, send any freelance jobs you think I might do well with my way.
